Flying in to St Johns after 3 weeks in Europe!

The fog is rolling in...

After several days of sun, the fog is trying to come back. But I am flying home at 16 today, so please please Mr Fog, please stay away for one more day!

Typical spring day in SJ!

Middle of the day, not much daylight really.. June last year we had 26 of 30 days with fog like this, let's see what this June will bring!

Sun! Hurrah!

Finally, we can see the sun again! It's been about two weeks since we saw it last! But the fog is still trying to come in the Narrows!
No summer yet! Still about 4-7 degrees, but at least some sunlight helps on the mood!

What is this? Snow?

Coming out of the gym on Thursday this view made me stop pretty fast! What is this, snow? Again? It was only 3-4 degrees and light rain when I went in to the gym, so it was more than possible! But when I walked a few steps further, I realized that it was only the fog reflecting of the wet road... Puuuuh...

Time for an evening stroll in the fog!

And did I mention the cold fog... I even dug out my long wool underwear. Yepp, nothing like fog and 4 degrees in June!
Debating if I should bring my wooly hat too... Mittens is a given, but it just seems wrong to wear a wool hat in June. Maybe I can put it in my pocket, just in case!

Brrrrr.... is all I can say!
Leaving sunny Oslo with 25-30 degrees to 6 degree in SJ was a little harder than expected! But I always try to be positive, and think, well, it can only be better.... but no, I was very wrong!

Check out the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow (May 29.... yes, May-month!) : Cloudy. Rain showers or ice pellets beginning early this evening then changing to wet flurries this evening and ending after midnight. Risk of thundershowers early this evening. Rainfall amount 2 to 4 mm. Local snow and ice pellet amount 2 cm. Wind becoming north 20 km/h near midnight. Low zero.
